Neverwinter bringing four modules to Xbox One in September

The Xbox One version of Neverwinter has been left behind compared its PC counterpart shortly after launching on the console, thanks to faster and easier updates with the computer version. However, Cryptic is going to make a major effort to close the gap between versions as it uploads not one, not two, but four modules to the Xbox One next month.

At some point in September, Neverwinter will add the most recent four modules to the console: Elemental Evil, Fury of the Feywild, Shadowmantle, and Curse of Icewind Dale. Missing from this list is the imminent Strongholds update, which will be going live on the PC next week. Cryptic said that Strongholds will come to Xbox One “later this year.”

September’s mass update will increase the level cap to 70, add the Oathbound Paladin class, include eight new zones, and throw in plenty of additional content.

Do you have a link to the actual press release? Because the way you phrased it sounds odd. I thought the only module currently missing from the Xbox One was Elemental Evil… the others you listed were not the most recent but actually the first three modules ever released; wouldn’t really make sense if the Xbox version was missing those of all things…

BenRubinstein I notice frame-rate drops from time to time, but not to a massive degree.

I tried playing this a bit on my XBox One but it was super laggy and turned me off very quickly. Is that normal?
