Betawatch: September 11th, 2015

Bored for the bored god.

How eternal were you planning on making your crusade? We ask chiefly because Eternal Crusade has announced that its closed alpha test will start on September 14th, albeit with most of the MMO-style features not yet available for testing. Still, testing is testing!

Otherwise, absolutely nothing happened. By which I mean several other things happened.

Are there more games in a list just below? What a silly question, the answer is always yes. If you noticed we missed something on the list, let us know in the comments while assuming a vast conspiracy theory meant to discredit your favorite game. It’s those snake people, guys, they control everything.

As always, we consider an MMO to be in open testing if it features free, public signups and will server wipe prior to launch. An MMO is marked in closed testing if it’s running a private test phase that cannot freely be accessed by the general public; it’s usually under NDA as well. Early access and crowdfunded MMOs whose tests we deem legitimate will be included. So-called “open beta” soft-launch MMOs with cash shops, no sign of launch in the west, or limited interest for our readers will not be listed.
