Do you like EVE Online? Do you like charts and graphs? If you answered yes to both of those questions, the latest CCP dev blog is for you. It’s all about the game’s economy, and it’s basically a recap of and an expansion on information that was revealed at EVE Vegas and that has rarely been made public before.
CCP says that while its peak concurrent user numbers have been steadily declining, economic “activity is not going down overall.” On the contrary, the firm says, “If we normalize it by unique logons, we rather see those numbers increasing, meaning that those playing now contribute relatively more to the sandbox than the general population in the previous years, which is a great sign.”
There’s a lot more to the dev blog than that, of course, so be sure and read the full document if you’re heavily invested in EVE or a curious bystander.
