Get ready for another expansion in EverQuest II on the game’s time-locked expansion servers! Players voted to move the timeline along once again, and thus Kingdom of the Sky will unlock on Deathtoll and Stormhold on Thursday, January 7th. If you have anything else you want to accomplish on those servers in the current expansion environment, you should probably get that taken care of today. Perhaps even right now, if you can.
The new expansion launch brings Adventure, Guild, and Tradeskill levels up to 70 while unlocking the Alternate Advancement subclass window (capped at 50). Both cloud and spire travel will be restored, to boot. It’s a trip down a living version of memory lane that you can start in on tomorrow, just slipping through the history of the game as it unlocks one expansion at a time.
