Welcome back to day 42 of WhaleWatch, your faithful Massively OP feature in which we are looking for any sighting whatsoever of Worlds Adrift’s elusive sky whales. And unlike the past 20 days, we can say “whale ho!” off the starboard bow!
A new video dev diary interviews Senior Artist Jack Good about the ongoing creation of these “gentle giants” of the wide blue sky. Good said that while the sky whales won’t be in the best beta update, they’re coming along with lots of modeling and detailing. The whales are intended to be rare encounters at first, although dedicated players can certainly keep a lookout for these massive beasts.
