Great news for those following the cross-genre MOBA Hyper Universe: Nexon officially announced this week that the game will be coming to North America, Europe, Oceania, and Latin America in 2017. The publisher is showing off Hyper Universe at PAX South this weekend and has a new trailer to pump up excitement for the title.
It’s been a little while since we covered this game, so here’s your quick-and-dirty primer. Hyper Universe is skewing away from the traditional MOBA design by focusing on multi-level 2-D environments with characters that are more or less blatant homages to popular real life and pop culture icons.
