In Crowfall, every player will be exactly the same race, as their true form will be an etheral crow spirit that can inhabit “vessels” (read: set archetypes) for combat campaigns. While the crows won’t be seen for the most part, when they do erupt from their vessels — either via combat or suicide — players will be treated to seeing their real form flying about.
The team put together a short video that talks about and shows the creation of the visuals for this crow form. The artists went through a couple of iterations, finally settling on a blue-black design that is filled with stars and has trails flowing behind it.
