The sun is rising over New Britannia today with the official release of Shroud of the Avatar. While the game has been in a persistent world state for hundreds of days now, the team at Portalarium considers Release 52 to be the mark at which the game leaves open beta and is now fully live.
The launch build patches in performance improvements, companions for the different paths, more polish, the ability to create multiple characters on an account, heraldry, combat balance, and the scenes of South Boundless Forest and Blood River Forest.
The website got a new landing page, and Travian Games is now operating its own Shroud of the Avatar website for many European countries inside of its publishing territory. Players who speak a variety of languages may be happy to see that the forums have published language-specific areas to accommodate them.
