World of Warcraft’s Hallow’s End celebration returns

We’re already over halfway through October, and things in the MMO space just keep getting spookier and spookier. The latest game to get in on the Halloween fun is World of Warcraft, which is welcoming the return of its annual Hallow’s End celebration. As always, the return of Hallow’s End means the return of the Headless Horseman, who is once again terrorizing the towns of Razor Hill and Goldshire, and it’s up to players to help put out the fires and pursue the Horseman to his headquarters (pun absolutely intended) in Scarlet Monastery’s Graveyard. Those skilled enough to best the Horseman in combat will have a chance to walk away with a variety of goodies, including the new Headless Horseman’s Hearthstone toy.

In addition, players can head to Val’sharah to take on a new questline that starts from the Hag of the Crooked Tree in Bradensbrook. Completing the questline will earn players some Tricky Treats as well as a chance at receiving one of four “utterly bewitching hats.” And of course, as always, there are a slew of achievements for players to complete, and finishing the Hallowed Be Thy Name meta-achievement will reward players with the Hallowed title. You can read more about Azeroth’s Halloween happenings over at the game’s official site, or if you want to know just how to go about making the most of the Hallow’s End celebration, check out the official guide at WoWHead.
