I hope they plan to explain how these dragons somehow escaped being flung into the far future by Akatosh with every other dragon.

Boy, I’m really looking forward to the racial and combat revamps. The awkwardness of character builds and the basics of combat are probably the main weaknesses of ESO.

Necromancy means never having to say goodbye.

I would have been there if I was awake, I fell asleep early last night :D

I do really enjoy ESO as far as story is concerned. That is something they do exceptionally well, and having all the NPCs actually speak really brings that to life.

The one thing that lets me down with ESO is the combat difficulty is dead. Before One Tamriel came about where you could go anywhere (which I understand why they did it, I just think there could have been a better way to do it) – I would purposely go to places above my level in order to boost the challenge I’d face. I’d go places I shouldn’t be yet and it would be fun and amazing for me.

Since One Tamriel, the combat challenge went down the toilet. Everything I fight is horribly easy. The Delve bosses are way too easy even and I can kill them while my cat is rolling on his back on my lap kicking my keyboard out of the way.

Yesterday I went around soloing group content in order to give myself a challenge. I soloed a world boss without coming close to dying. It was a fun fight for sure, I really did enjoy it, but this was a World Boss and I’m a solo player. It shouldn’t have been something I could solo like that without having to even barely get serious.

My reflexes and setup are just barely above average. My character isn’t overpowered or anything, I’m barely into the Champion levels (the cap is 810, I’m in the 170’s).

My gear is mostly blue (there are purple and gold levels above it, blue is very average), I’m barely above average as a player, my Champion level is still really low, and I’m soloing world bosses. What does that tell you?

The challenge in ESO is dead and has been since One Tamriel appeared. I would like the challenge to be higher everywhere, not have to go into instances here and there to get them. I’m really hoping the Dragons bring a real challenge, I hope it actually needs a group to be able to do.

Right now I go to ESO for the story. The story is fun. There is some challenge in things other than killing – such as thievery without killing, or doing assassinations without getting caught. But the combat itself is terribly easy. You’re basically like One-Punch Man in a world of far too easy fights, having to get the tiniest bit serious when fighting a world boss and that’s it.

The challenge is only going to get easier as I gain more Champion points. I can start a new character, which I have, but with One Tamriel you can go anywhere and scale to the content’s level. So it’s all too easy no matter where you go even if you’re level 1.

I still really enjoy the game for the role playing and stories, but the combat is just dead to me there since One Tamriel. The combat would be fun, as it is live action combat, you have to dodge and block and interrupt spells, it’s a really nice system, except for everything is just too easy now.

I do love the game, I just wish the combat brought a real level of difficulty to it.

I wish they had a system where we could go into a higher tiered version of the world that was more difficult. I am not going to artificially make my own combat more difficult by using lower level equipment in the main world while everybody else blasts through everything and makes me look like a weakling, but I would love if we could select a higher tiered version of the world that was more difficult overall over the entirety of that world.

I can’t solo world bosses as a two handed dragon knight, even wearing a full set of nice purple armor.

Guess all builds aren’t the same.

No, they certainly are not. I could solo world bosses before the magika shield nerf but now not a chance.
