With all of the early access and previews running, you could be forgiven for feeling that Anthem had already launched. It has not, however; the game is launching on February 22nd, and it has a patch incoming for launch day on Friday. This includes a slew of technical fixes such as removing infinite loading screens, decreasing loading times, and a number of crash bugs that players identified during the early access. All of which is good.
The game is also adding numbers for weapons and gear modifiers, a display for stronghold bosses dropping loot, correcting various specific mission issues, and similar assorted issues. So the experience should be more polished when the game moves into its full launch on Friday; whether it will be enough to pull you into the game’s jumping mechanics or not remains to be seen.
The first #AnthemGame patch will be going live before the WW launch, February 22, 2019. Fixes include, the ability to shield while reviving allies using #AnthemColossus, and the end of Stronghold bosses now show loot dropping when defeated.
