A few of the gear chases in Destiny 2 have gotten a little bit easier. With this week’s 2.5.2.2 patch, players should be seeing more Braytech Schematic drops as well as more loot drops while playing Gambit Prime and Reckoning.

Braytech Schematics are now no longer limited to being gained once a day and now have a 25% chance of being dropped when players open a Rasputin Data Cache. Additionally, the four Braytech weapons offered by Ana Bray and connected to the Wayfarer seal will now have a better chance of becoming one weapon you don’t already own. Loot rewards are also improving in Gambit Prime and Reckoning, with improved bad luck protection for each activity. Tier 3 Reckoning will also feature higher drop rates overall due to its increased difficulty, while enemies in that activity will have less health and do less damage.

This same patch has also significantly reduced a number of quest requirements for the Wendigo GL3 and Mountaintop Pinnacle weapons; raised the stack limit for Planetary Materials, Gunsmith Materials, Vanguard Tokens, Crucible Tokens, and Iron Banner Tokens from 999 to 9,999; and removed the Forsaken character boost from the Eververse store.

Speaking of buying things, those who don’t already own Forsaken on Xbox One and PS4 may want to reconsider, as the Forsaken Complete collection has seen a price reduction. This price cut is for console players for now, but will also be offered for the Steam version on Tuesday, September 10th. On top of that, every owner of Forsaken will be getting a free Year Two Annual Pass starting on September 17th.
