I love pie, which is why I probably can grasp pie charts the easiest out of all of the graphs, and there’s lots of pie data being served up by Path of Exile, which collated four weeks’ worth of statistics to showcase the Blight League’s most popular enchantments.
The information is broken up in to two parts: Notable Anointments and Ring Enchantments. Those are further sub-divided by oil rarity, factoring in the number of times an oil is applied multiplied by a factor based on their rarity. This data set ultimately presented a top 20 and top 10 respectively.
In terms of Notable Anointments, the most popular is Ravenous Horde for with or without oil rarity factored in, which is to be perhaps expected in a League that tends to favor Necromancers. Ring enchantments saw the most divergence between selected enchantments and anointed ones, with Chilling Tower Damage taking the top spot in terms of Enchantments but Meteor Tower Additional Metor topping the list when oil rarity is factored in. The pie charts offered by Grinding Gear Games provide further details on the types of oils consumed to anoint items, while the dev blog itself is chock full of data slices to nibble on.
I might need to get a pie.
