CIG hands out some eye candy with a new visuals trailer for Squadron 42

All right, Squadron 42, I get it. You’re pretty. Extremely pretty. But this recent visuals trailer you released? That’s just straight up showing off. I’m not mad at it, though; walk your walk, baby.

The folks at CIG decided to collect all of the work done to the single-player narrative portion of Star Citizen with a juicy widescreen video full of atmospheric effects, chitinous spaceships, and long, droning synth pads. What I’m trying to say is that it’s a visually arresting trailer, even if it reminds me that my PC is the starchiest of potatoes when put up against Star Citizen right now.

Of course, this still doesn’t provide any sort of context on when Squadron 42 will be in a playable state; that’s what the roadmap is for, which pins a beta for sometime in the third quarter of 2020 barring any further delays or adjustments. For now, you can feed your eyes that sweetness in the embed below.
