Destiny 2’s Crimson Days Valentine’s event arrives on February 11

For one week, the Guardians of Destiny 2 are going to be celebrating love. Or, at least, “the bond that Guardians share on the battlefield.” Which… isn’t really the same thing, but it’s close enough? In any case, Crimson Days, the Valentine’s seasonal event, is coming to the multiplayer shooter soon.

Crimson Days will feature the return of Crimson Doubles, which pairs two players together to take on a round-based Clash PvP match. This mode also has the added wrinkle of granting partners a buff to ability generation so long as they’re near one another; stray too far apart and you’ll become visible on the map.

The seasonal event, naturally, is full of thematic rewards such as a Ghost shell, ornament, emote, and a pair of Sparrows that match side-by-side. There’s also The Vow, a fully Masterworked bow weapon. Naturally, there’s things in the Eververse game store as well such as a special emote designed for two. Awww.

Crimson Days will run between Tuesday, February 11th, and Tuesday, February 18th, and is free for all Destiny 2 players.
