Chronicles of Elyria kicks off its Settlers of Elyria virtual land auction for a second time

Allow us to share a little bit of background on this one: Chronicles of Elyria had first announced an “event” in December of last year that would auction off unclaimed virtual land (that is still yet to be playable) for a set period of time. The so-called Settlers of Elyria event, however, ran into issues with its purchasing portal, which saw the digital land sale postponed. This delay ran beyond the winter holidays and past January, with only a quick word that fixing the event was a “top priority.”

At long last, though, it appears that those issues have been resolved and the land auction is on once more. Players will be able to start buying up Settlements, Counties, and Duchies today at 5:00 p.m. EST all the way through Sunday, April 26th. As before, prices for every domain that is available will drop by 1% each day, up to 45% off on the final day of the event, along with “flash sales” of featured domains that take an additional 10% off every 20 minutes.

There are a variety of specifics and details to comb over, so those interested in becoming “a part of the history of Elyria” will want to read up. And fingers crossed that this auction doesn’t get tripped up. That’d be a real storm.
