Path of Exile elaborates on how the Harvest League’s garden works

Mary, Mary, quite contrary, how does your garden grow? Especially in a place like Wraeclast which is an island so miserable that criminals are exiled there? Those are the questions addressed by Path of Exile in an FAQ, which touches on a variety of mechanics questions related to the garden portion of the upcoming Harvest League.

For those who aren’t familiar, tending to this garden will involve finding a seed cache in an area. When players are near a cache, roots will begin growing beneath their feet that point in the direction of the cache. Once seeds are found, players will want to return to the Sacred Grove to plant them, harvest the monsters that grow from them, and use the gathered Lifeforce as a powerful crafting resource. Even something as innocent as gardening is somehow awful in Wraeclast.

For those interested in some more details on this whole gardening mechanic, the FAQ likely will provide some insight. Make sure to also check out our own look at the Harvest League for more details.
