It’s time to celebrate the summer season and iconic vehicular cinema moments in The Crew 2 with the newly released Summer in Hollywood update. Which in the case of this update is more about paying homage to movies and not dropping you in the middle of California during summer. That would probably suck for those of us who don’t do well in the heat.
Summer in Hollywood will offer up seven different PvE events that correspond with weekly themed Summit events which reference things like Tron and classic ’70s car chases. The update is also bringing a variety of new vehicles including the Porsche 911 Carerra 4S, the ’67 Volkswagen Beetle, and the 2014 Koenigsegg One:1. In total there are 24 promised cars to be released, with three as part of Elite Bundle 5. There’s also lots of new vanity items to collect like horns, window tints, custom nitros and more.
