I don’t really have a Protea build myself, just levelled her up for Mastery then stashed her in a cupboard with the other two dozen ‘frames I never use.
Have completed the 4 episodes of Glassmaker currently out and I like where they’ve gone with it and the insights it gives into the system’s various faction cultures, looking forward to the finale!
I’ve been messing around with Helminth, so I actually have three different Protea builds. The standard power set, then two more. One where I replaced Temporal Anchor with Nidus Larva, and the other replaces it with Vauban’s Tesla grenades. (“You get a grenade! And you get a grenade! Everyone gets a grenade!”) There’s some interesting interactions between Larva and Protea’s native powers. The big one being that her turrets have massive punchthrough and increase their damage for every target hit. Larva yanks everything into a big wiggly ball, so the first few shots from the turret could potentially hit everyone at the same time. O.O
I’ve done all the episodes of Glassmaker, and then more or less accidentally finished a ton of the “prestige” levels after getting the season unlocks. At this point I just sort of sigh and roll my eyes when more “cehpalite” enemies show up. They’ve gone from interesting to just annoying. :(
