Guild Wars 2 preps tournament week, while community website Dulfy.net disappears

Guild Wars 2’s PvP scene is a lot like hanging out at the pool. Some players are content to sit on the sidelines, some want to dip their toes into the WvW water, and some fully dive into the full arena experience.

ArenaNet is hoping to tempt more players into the pool with its announcement of a week-long series of PvP tournaments. From October 6th through the 12th, every day will see additional tournaments, including deathmatch and stronghold.

This comes at the tail end of a fractal event that’s wrapping up on October 6th.

In Guild Wars 2 community news, we’re sad to see that noted guide and news site Dulfy has completely disappeared. While new guides haven’t been been posted for a while now, the site’s archives were invaluable and a great contribution to understanding the game. Though its archives can still be accessed on the internet, the original site will be sorely missed.

Update October 5, 2020
One of Dulfy’s sites is back now (with no explanation), so hopefully it stays that way. If not, DulfyReborn.net has been put together by another player to co-host the critical guide content that had gone missing. Thanks for the tip, Lisa!
