Star Wars The Old Republic’s Echoes of Vengeance may not be the game’s largest patch ever, but it’s aiming to catch the attention of the greater Star Wars fandom all the same. GU 6.2, which is live as of today, tweaks the login rewards, adjusts the emote window, and adds new ranked PvP rewards, and most importantly introduces the new Echoes of Oblivion story and Spirit of Vengeance flashpoint.

“[P]layers will discover what happened to Satele Shan and her followers’ ship in our latest story update, Echoes of Oblivion. For those who are looking for new challenges, jump into the Spirit of Vengeance Flashpoint to help Shae Vizla fight against renegade Mandalorians and save her flagship. […] Players will join Jedi Knight Kira Carsen, Sith Lord Scourge, and other allies in uncovering the mystery behind the disappearance of the ship carrying Satele Shan and her students. While searching for the truth behind this disappearance, players will face off against fanatical Servants of the former Sith Emperor and unravel their sinister plot!”

Incidentally, BioWare says it’s aware of a quick play issue with today’s update and offers workarounds while it’s working on a fix.

Wondering whether the MMO is worth your while here at the end of 2020? Longtime SWTOR YouTuber Swtorista just happens to have put up a recap of where the game stands:
