Guild Wars 2 is preparing for its next big beta event – not this weekend during the holiday, but the weekend after, from November 30th to December 4th. Players will be able to test out all nine of the new End of Dragons elite specs, as well as the siege turtle mount. As during past such events, you’ll be able to use the free beta slots to roll up a test character on the main servers; nothing you do on those characters will be saved or count toward your account, however.
If you can’t wait that long, you can scope out the turtle on today’s ArenaNet stream, which kicks off at 3 p.m. EST this afternoon.
If you need something to do right now, you can leap in to the latest “return to the living world” freebie episode, Jormag Rising, which is yours for the claiming all week.
And if you don’t want to do anything at all, you can sit yourself down and have a spot of tea in the new tea time chair novelty item in the cash shop because this is a thing that exists. “A second player can join you for tea by pressing F to interact with the chair,” the studio suggests. “Use the tea sipping emotes to have a party for two.” I think the Anet dev who came up with selling you guys chairs just invented the double-decker couch?
