Ages ago now on the MOP Podcast, Justin joked that New World’s Blunderbuss reveal trailer deserved to be on the list of best trailers for MMOs, and I’m hard-pressed to disagree with him. The music and vibe are so ridiculous that it’s funny, and funny always gets me more than a serious trailer.
That’s why Black Desert Mobile’s absurd fairy trailer a few weeks back caught my eye. I wasn’t ready for this video. It may not be a good trailer, but it absolutely worked as a marketing tool.
