Bonus question: Are you early or late to appointments you need to keep?
Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): It’s probably gonna be a Splatoon 3-heavy Saturday for the Eggstra work event, then even out a bit with the Pokemon Go events on Sunday.
I am almost always early, especially if it’s important. I’m pretty sure it’s why Massively of old kept me on board between convention coverage when there were local interview opportunities.
Andy McAdams: My significant other has convinced me to join him in EverQuest II, so I’ll likely be bouncing around there a bit. Lord of the Rings Online is still up there, and unlike Bree I haven’t made it through Moria yet so more featureless rock face for me. And RimWorld because why not.
Bonus Question: Depends on the appointment. I aim to be slightly early (five to ten minutes) most of the time, but I also don’t stress if we are going to be late to something that has some flexibility. At work though, different story. Exactly on time for every meeting, and I will guilt you into the sun if you are consistently late to meetings with me.
Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): Still in Lord of the Rings Online, pretty much done with Moria on my Warden-and-Bear duo, so we’re heading back out into the blinding light of Lothlorien this weekend most likely.
Being late to important things freaks me out, so if it’s just me I’m relying on, I’m usually early. To be early is to be on time, to be on time is to be late, to be late is to be left out, etc. But yeah with my kids and husband, we’re late to freakin’ everything.
Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): Still doing some Final Fantasy XVI and also have some Final Fantasy XIV antics to get up to. I have a few other plans, too, depending on time.
I am consistently early. Meetings, social gatherings, registration lines, store openings, I tend to get there earlier than planned. That leaves time if things goes wrong and it’s also basic respect for other people who might be waiting on me.
Sam Kash (@thesamkash): I’ve been playing the Evercore Heroes beta on and off for the last week. I think I might get in there one or two more times. But where I’ve spent most of my time is easily in Harry Potter: Magic Awakened. There’s just so much crap to do in there. The gacha is pretty heavy too so that might crush it ultimately for me but right now it’s my go-to. Lots of fun.
Bonus: If it’s any real appointment I’ll always be on time or early. But if we’re just talking about meeting up with friends, family, or something informal I’m going to be late. I just run on my own time mostly.
Tyler Edwards (blog): I did something stupid this week: I reinstalled Heroes of the Storm. So, I guess I’m grinding gold to unlock Whitemane (or possibly Anduin — haven’t decided yet). I was also thinking of maybe picking up some new stuff on the Steam sale.
Bonus question: I used to be consistently early to everything, but I think I came unglued from linear time during the pandemic, and now it’s anyone’s guess if I’ll be early, late, or on time.
