The Elder Scrolls Online Celebrates 10-Years in The Netherlands,” ZeniMax Online Studios’ new press release declares. Don’t worry it’s celebrating 10 years everywhere else too. (English is a trap for the unwary.) That’s because 2024 will mark the game’s 10th birthday, and the US-based company has decided to host the first leg of its big celebratory event in Amsterdam at the SugarFactory on April 5th and 6th.

“At the event fans will have the opportunity to attend exciting panels and roundtable discussions, watch or participate in an epic cosplay contest, play brand-new gameplay content, and enjoy music, food and drink, and many more activities,” the studio says. As for the rest of the world, players can expect local events in Australia, China, Sweden, Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Poland, the UK, Japan, and of course, here in the US – although the US event isn’t slated to arrive until the middle of 2025.

“We’re not stopping in Amsterdam! We’ll be going on an in-person World Tour in 2024 and 2025, celebrating 10 years of ESO at local community events and ending in the US for our 2025 ESO Celebration Event. We hope to see you at one of our community events!”

Tickets for the Amsterdam event are already on sale; we spied a brief queue when we tested it, but we suspect a lot of people were just clicking trying to figure out what the price might be. So we’ll save you some trouble: General admission is around $105, while the ultimate package is roughly $154. The team is selling plushies and windbreakers too.
