With a nasty legal tussle between Snail Games and Angela Games solved and a partnership between the two forged, fantasy sandbox MMO Myth of Empires finally is cleared to come to the world early next year. Angela Games has this week announced that the game is returning to Steam after two years away and will be releasing its 1.0 version in February 2024 with console coming later the same year.

The launch version includes a number of improvements over previous builds, including revamped boss AI, gliders, horse racing, hosted and solo modes, private servers, modding support, climbing tools, an immersive planting system, and the Dongzhou Island map.

“The road to Myth of Empires’ Version 1.0 release has been a long and exciting one,” said the studio. “Myth of Empires will be bigger, better, and more immersive than ever, and this trailer gives players their first look at all of the cool stuff we’ve been working on. We can’t wait for them to jump into the game and see it all for themselves this February.”
