Reign of Guilds has begun its last playtest ahead of the ‘final sprint’ to early access

The PvP sandbox MMORPG Reign of Guilds is making its final moves before entering an early access launch, as developer Atlant Games began the seventh and final playtest this past Friday, February 16th, and is scheduled to run until Monday, February 26th.

The latest build promises “a large number of edits and improvements” intended to make gameplay more cohesive and higher quality, most of which were showed off in a patch notes post. Readers will also remember that this new playtest will retain progress from the last build.

Atlant calls this current test one of the final steps before the studio crosses the finish line. Once playtesting is complete, there will be “the final sprint and early access,” though the studio provides no timeline for when early access will begin beyond the Steam page’s reference of sometime in Q1. A new set of patch notes for this test build are available for those who want to keep tabs on the project in the meanwhile, or you can click the “request access” button on the Steam page to perhaps see what’s happening for yourself.
