Back in 2022 we first reported on Aska, a self-described “multiplayer Viking survival tribe builder” from Romanian indie Sand Sailor Studio that sees players building and commanding a Viking village after being shipwrecked on a mysterious island. The title held a single-player closed alpha in 2022 and a multiplayer closed beta last year.

The testing continues for this still-developing survival title, as Sand Sailor has confirmed its next closed beta round will run from Monday, April 15th, through Sunday, April 21st. The beta test announcement came along with word that the game landed a new publisher in the form of Thunderful Games and a snazzy new announcement trailer. As for content, this test looks to once more allow for solo play or up to four-person multiplayer.

More details will likely come forth as the month of March moves on, but until then interested testers are invited to the game’s Discord or to keep an eye on the Steam page, as well as watch that aforementioned trailer.
