It’s been only a few weeks since City of Heroes newly legitimate Homecoming servers saw the i27p7 update roll out, but there’s another update live now. Lest you get too excited at the prospect of further powersets and the like, the latest update is mostly about balance fixes. So if you were annoyed about the typo in the power description of Liquid Nitrogen in Arsenal Control, well, it has now been fixed. Rejoice!

That’s not to minimize the changes here; there are a lot of typo and bug fixes for everything from visual customization to buffs not being properly granted, and there are balance changes to the new Advanced difficulty for task forces that weren’t standardized or were preventing rewards from showing up. There are also some adjustments for people still running on 32-bit operating systems to hopefully improve performance. So it’s not a content patch, but it’s still a nice collection of balance and performance improvements.
