Even though World of Warcraft’s next expansion is still many months away, the theorycrafting is already underway thanks to the ongoing reveals of The War Within’s new hero talent trees.
This past week, Blizzard released an overview of the “evergreen” character progression system and a dozen additional talent trees for many of the classes. There’s a huge amount of data here, including the capstone ability for each build.
These new talent trees include the Ride of the Apocalypse Death Knight, the Aldrachi Reaver Demon Hunter, the Druid of the Claw, the Flameshaper Evoker, the Pack Leader Hunter, the Spellslinger Mage, the Shado-Pan Monk, the Farseer Shaman, the Hellcaller Warlock, the Slayer Warrior, and more.
“We want players to be free to choose the Hero Talent tree that has the gameplay, visuals, or flavor that they prefer. Our goal is for both options to feel similarly effective in raid dungeons, Mythic+, and PvP. We’re working to avoid abilities or bonuses in Hero Talents that could make a certain tree feel ‘required’ for activities where we can,” the developers said.
