Here’s how GGG is sprucing up Path of Exile’s Necropolis post-launch

Ideally, Path of Exile are having a gothic grave-digging good time with the current Necropolis league, but that doesn’t mean everything is perfectly balanced. That brings us to Grinding Gear Games’ latest post, which outlines a number of mechanical adjustments that are in the works right now.

The current focus for adjustment in the league relates to grave crafting and map to map gameplay. Updates on deck for map gameplay include letting players itemize corpses for free, adjusting related material drops, making reward packs to make them more rewarding, and lowering the danger of some of the spicier modifiers at endgame.

As for grave crafting, rare craft chances are being increased, craft tiers will be removed, grave crafts that reroll sockets and links will be buffed, and players will soon be able to select the base item they want to craft.

A timeline for these feature tweaks isn’t provided, but GGG promises they will be released as soon as they’re complete. The post also promises that more updates are planned as necessary; these are just the more pressing ones right now.
