Dungeons & Dragons Online is making its subscription more enticing with the introduction of loyalty rewards. According to Standing Stone Games’ latest dev blog and video, players who join the VIP loyalty program will get five shared account storage slots the moment they do so, then will receive extra benefits every month like extra DDO Points, a bonus character slot, VIP Bags of Many Things, and a special mount, with more perks the longer they sub.
“We’re adding a new always-available VIP perk related to spell swapping,” SSG says. “While you are VIP you can swap spells in any public area, and you don’t have a cooldown when changing spells at the trainer.” The promo begins May 1st.
These new rewards are the subject of DDO’s own weekly dev stream, which also discusses the three day-long server issues and then plays the game for the rest of the runtime.
