Myth of Empires previews Greek buildings and armor, opens Jade Era servers to help new players

The survival MMO Myth of Empires is going Greek for its most recent previews, as Angela Game has put out a couple of sneak peeks at a few of the buildings and armor sets that will be available when the related DLC releases.

Many of the buildings and building parts previewed have plenty of the expected aesthetics one would expect, including stately columns, reliefs and murals, and a whole lot of symmetrical design. Also there’s stone. Lots and lots of stone. The devs have also granted an advance look at a Greek-style furnace that has all of the expected crafting functionality with a more decorative visual motif.

As for the armor sets, the latest previews are for a meteoric set of armor in both light and heavy styles, both of which are meant to evoke the “quintessential Greek” style of the period’s soldiers or gladiators.

Meanwhile, last week saw Jade Era servers for North America and Europe go live, which feature adjustments that are tailored for new players, while the most recent patch introduces the ability to “freeze” mounts (thereby stopping feed needs) and multiple optimizations.
