Star Wars Galaxies rogue server SWG Legends has unleashed its massive deep space patch

Earlier this month, the player team behind Star Wars Galaxies rogue server SWG Legends took the wraps off its Deep Space Comms patch – and as of today, it’s fully live for players on the Omega server. As the name suggests, this update is all about deep space with new missions and a factional control mechanic that sets up pilots for lucrative PvP.

“Four hyperspace beacons have appeared near the center of the sector. Whichever faction maintains majority control of these beacons will gain a periodic reward of Space PvP Tokens, a new currency added to the game with this update. You can also earn Space PvP Tokens from the new Destroy Duty missions, and by destroying your PvP enemies in Deep Space! Space PvP Tokens can be spent to earn many all new items from vendor NPCs located at the Imperial Outpost on Talus, and the Rebel Outpost on Rori. These rewards include new player houses, 3 new ships, decorative items, pilot-themed wearables, and several very useful utility items for pilots.”

But the patch notes have a ton more: There’s a huge list of space quality-of-life tweaks, shipwright additions, new weapons, new ships, and for non-pilots, plenty of color palette updates.
