In my MMO guild, whenever somebody mentions a new game, it’s tradition to absurdly announced that we’re all moving to whatever it is, and right now, it’s oh my god we’re moving 2 SWG2, all thanks to Playable Worlds and Raph Koster’s announcement of Stars Reach this week. Hey, the MMORPG genre deserves good things.
Meanwhile, we got other good things – the early access for Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail and Guild Wars 2 fully revealed its housing system – and some bad things too, as we said farewell to ArcheAge and pondered a new theory for New World’s bizarre Aeternum debacle.
Read on to catch up with the very best of this week’s MMO news and opinions today as every Sunday (
since 2010!) in Massively Overpowered’s
Week in Review!
