Chrono Odyssey shares combat impressions from a recent small-scale test

It’s been some time since we’ve heard a peep out of Chrono Odyssey, the splashy UE5-powered MMORPG from developer Npixel and publisher Kakao Games, but that’s probably because the game has been in some quiet small-scale focus group testing, and the studio is eager to show off some impressions from one such small-scale test.

This test was primarily focused on combat improvements, which Npixel claims enhanced weapon characteristics and addressed tester concerns. Overall the data show the devs are on the right track, with 60% of testers expressing satisfaction along with improvements to things like hit feedback, hit detection, and unique class weapon feel.

Despite this happy crowing about combat progress, most responses on Twitter and Reddit appear to be impatient; most are asking about when more testing will come, while others claim that these charts mean literally nothing without gameplay demonstrations of some kind. All anyone can glean for sure is that testing is happening.
