EverQuest II GU 126 Immeasurable Menagerie hits open beta August 13

EverQuest II’s GU 126 update is hitting the beta test server next week, and while at first I wondered whether it was named after my daughter’s endless collection of animal stuffies, Immeasurable Menagerie is fact a reference to Miragul’s latest schemes.

“As you know, Miragul is an Erudite mage of no equal, capable of traversing through the planes and time thanks to his extensive travels and studies,” Daybreak says. “But something about Miragul is different this time, I just can’t put my finger on it. Abandoning his laboratory in Everfrost for one unbound by time, realities, and Celestial interference, this Miragul is hopping through time and space, plucking beings and locations from places he visits and weaving them into an intricate and elaborate arena. But for what? Why is he doing this? What is his end goal? Why have you been summoned?”

We don’t know! There are no patch notes yet! Guess we’ll be finding out together. According to the last roadmap, we’re expecting the launch in August too, so don’t expect this one to sit on the beta server for long when it opens on August 13th.
