It’s not only fans of Guild Wars 2 who are counting down the days to the release of Janthir Wilds; ArenaNet is doing so as well in a rather literal sense with a countdown jigsaw puzzle… thing. Or is it a countup?
The tweet posted yesterday offers the first piece of a jigsaw puzzle as well as some lore about the lowland Kodan and the affectation they give warclaw pups. This is kind of about all that’s available right now, but assuming that these kinds of posts will be happening daily as Janthir Wilds closes in, we can expect at least seven more.
The hype train isn’t all just vague puzzles, as the studio is also pushing discounts on cash shop items such as communal boost bonfires (along with a free lockbox key) and holding a giveaway with Alienware that is handing out one of 50 keys for the expansion.
