Thank goodness we finally launched.

With Skull and Bones headed to Steam on August 22nd alongside the game’s new season, Ubisoft Singapore is taking the opportunity to to improve the keyboard and mouse user experience since Steam is a PC storefront.

The in-house “interview” talks up efforts to make the game “feel more ‘PC'” with its adjustments, discusses the feedback and features that were focused on, and promised to continue to refine keyboard and mouse controls. The post then provides a keyboard and mouse-specific set of patch notes that outline new mouseover behavior, improved UI visuals, new right-clicking and zooming functions, and updates to contextual button presses.

Finally, the post closes with yet another sale for the multiplayer piratical playground, with a 60% off discount on Steam between August 22nd and September 4th as well as the return of a six hour-long trial available on the platform. All told, it would seem like Ubisoft is really gunning for PC players and Steam users.
