Sure, Bandai Namco, we didn’t want a new MMORPG; what we actually wanted was another PvPvE shooter instead. That’s right, this is what we’re all getting when Synduality Echo of Ada arrives on PS5, Xbox X|S, and PC via Steam on Friday, January 24th, 2025.

“This sci-fi adventure immerses players in Amasia, a world where humans coexist with artificial intelligence. As a Drifter, players will embark on a journey to collect the precious AO Crystals, a rare resource vital to survival in this dystopian landscape. With an AI companion, Magus, and CRADLECOFFIN vehicle by their side, they will have to face countless threats and uncover the secrets of this dystopian future. The world is a battlefield of resources and dangers, only the determined will prevail.”

The CRADLECOFFIN is the central combat vehicle of Synduality, which can be customized with unique cosmetics and weapon loadouts to fit players’ personal and gameplay style. As one might expect out of a PvPvE game, other players will be exploring the map in an effort to bring their own AO Crystals back to base safely, which means that they could be friend or foe.

Synduality can already be pre-ordered in one of three editions for as much as $100, with the pricier bundles offering one of two battle passes, cosmetics, robo-suit parts, seven days’ worth of head start access, and a 48-hour extension for an upcoming playtest. At base, the game will cost $40 and will very likely have battle passes (plural) and cosmetics in its monetization model. Because it’s important to figure all of that out before your game launches, obviously.
