Valheim fans, be aware: The crowdfunding campaign for the official board game is now underway during the month of October. This is a one-to-four player game that mimics the online RPG with exploration, building, crafting, and fighting.

“Starting today, fans of the game, norse mythology enthusiasts and board game devotees alike can back it on the official Gamefound page for the project. The Valheim board game is developed by award-winning designer Ole Steiness, the maker of the Deep Rock Galactic board game, and published by MOOD Publishing. Ole and MOOD have worked tirelessly to translate the unique feeling of exploring the world of Valheim into an experience for 1-4 players that will vie for Odin’s favour as they work together to brave the wonders and dangers of the tenth Norse realm.”

The survival sandbox developers also promoted an upcoming October 8th livestream that will touch on upcoming content: “During the stream we will look back on the Ashlands development, but we will also be talking a bit about the future update that we started teasing a bit in the last blog post.”

And if the swampy hut that was teased back in August got you all hot and bothered, now you can take a peek inside to see… well, we don’t want to spoil it for you. If you’re dying of curiosity, you can check it out for yourself — but be warned, this is not for the faint of heart that can’t handle a few amazing pixels.
