There will be some pretty big things making their way to Black Desert Mobile in a couple of weeks’ time as Pearl Abyss has outlined some new features and gameplay updates in a recent developer video announcement.

The major autumn updates coming to the mobile MMO start on Tuesday, October 29th, with the arrival of a revamp to the game’s main quest line that promises a more character-focused and more streamlined experience. Pearl Abyss says that this revamp has cut the questing length down by half, removing lengthy grinds and overlong quest chains.

That same update will also introduce a new autumn season server that will swiftly move players from character creation into Calpheon, ending up with a combat power of 33,000 and some new end-of-season rewards.

Following that on Tuesday, November 5th, players will get to experience the Awakened Kunoichi, aka the Kurenai. This awakened class appears to work similarly to the PC and console counterpart, using a massive sah chakram main weapon and shuriken sub-weapon, both of which allow the class to engage foes at a distance.

The video also offers a closing look at more features coming to BDO Mobile later, such as the Slumberfallen Castle guild content’s imminent arrival. This encounter features asynchronous combat that pits guild members against massive bosses in an attempt to earn valuable guild rewards within a limited time frame. All of what’s heading to the game next can be seen in the video below.
