Beyond the grave.

The ghoulish delights of the spooky season pervade the MMO landscape, and Final Fantasy XIV is no exception to that rule. In fact, its own offering is kicking off on October 18th as All Saints’ Wake starts up again, with a new outfit for players to wear. You’ve dressed as a ghost, as a vampire, as a werewolf, and as a clown… now prepare to wear a shirt and tie! Truly, a vision from beyond the grave.

You also get to wear horns, so maybe you’re supposed to be a devil or something?

Well, presumably the actual quest will tell you why this particular cosplay is in this year, with the festivities starting with the recurring pumpkin-headed apparition that’s shown up in the quests over the past several years. Players can also get a bat-winged pumpkin head decoration, so you’ll have plenty of incentive to take part in the event during the spooky month before it ends on November 4th.
