our house, etc.

The first thing to note is that Stars Reach, if you hadn’t know this, takes place in space. The second thing to note once you finish noting that first thing is that technically every game takes place in space because that’s how space work. The third thing to note is that everyone knows when you say a game takes place in space, you don’t literally mean that other games don’t; you mean that the game involves traveling between different planets in outer space. The fourth thing to note is that how have we spent this much time noting peripheral details before acknowledging that the game’s next pre-alpha will take place on multiple worlds?

In addition to giving players more than one zone to explore in this latest pre-alpha, Stars Reach is also continuing to test terraforming abilities, botany as a skill tree, and around 50 new resources. That’s a lot. Equally important is the fact that the new test will no longer automatically give players Grapple and Grav Mesh, instead requiring them to be crafted. Check out the full preview of the upcoming test on the official site, and get ready for a few more zones in the game all around.
