Comparatively speaking, news from the worlds of RuneScape and Old School RuneScape is a little shorter this week. Still, there are things in both games for players to look forward to that are worth reporting.
RuneScape’s newest patch this week has a new high-level Slayer monster in the form of the profane scarabite, a bipedal bug beast found in the Kharidian Desert. This monster requires players to be level 87 in the profession and can award a new helm that grants benefits that were previously unique to the Necromancer class. The rest of the week’s patch is mostly about fixes and general adjustments once more.
As for OSRS, there are no patch notes yet, but there is an update confirmed for November 6th that will migrate the Curse of Arrav quest line to the MMO as well as apply a variety of updates to the mobile version. More details will likely arrive soon.
