The fresh anniversary realms for WoW Classic are perhaps not as true to World of Warcraft’s past as some might want, or perhaps they’re true to exactly the parts that some players want. We’ll let you be the judge, as the developers have announced that instant mail, dual spec, and a removal of the buff/debuff limit will all be implemented for the anniversary realms. Instant mail and the limit removal are already in place for launch, while dual spec will be rolled out at some point after launch.
Of course, you can probably imagine that the thread is full of people who are arguing over whether or not dual spec is within the spirit of the game, or whether or not having the buff/debuff limit is vital. (No one really seems fussed about the instant mail.) So if you’re looking for a flashpoint of archival game design to argue over the next several months, you’ve got one right here! Alternately, of course, you could do anything else with your time. Including just playing WoW Classic, in fact.
