If you’re starting to get that déjà vu feeling in WoW Classic, it’s because 2024 is looking like 2019 is looking like 2004. The 20th anniversary “Classic Classic” realms launched last night for the legacy branch of the MMO, offering players an opportunity to return to their old favorite stomping grounds.

The launch brought out a lot of humor and memes, as well as Gnome raiding silliness. Some players were upset that their desired name was “poached” at the start, which is kind of how it goes sometimes. Of course, everyone was waiting to see if the RNG gods would bless their run with a full set of bag drops or leave them wanting.
If you’re playing, let us know how your experience is going!
