EVE Online’s seasonal Winter Nexus event returns December 5

It’s almost time for the winter season to come to… space? This would seem weird if it weren’t for the fact that EVE Online celebrates the winter holidays every year, and 2024 will be no different when the Winter Nexus event makes its return on Thursday, December 5th.

The event will once more bring on winter-themed areas across highsec, lowsec, and nullsec space, offering combat encounters against Sansha forces, exploration sites with hacking opportunities, or Yoiul Festival resource sites to harvest. The ice storms will also provide benefits against heat, so players can go a little more free-fire with their modules than normal.

The event will also grant plenty of login goodies like skill points, evermarks, skins, and design components, with subscribers getting more goodies (of course). One of the bigger hauls will be on December 25th, when free players get handed 75K skill points and subs get 350K skill points. It’s the season of freebies and extra rewards for doing what you might be already doing in New Eden, and it comes next week.
