Embers Adrift continues its ‘light’ series of updates with another fixer-upper patch

Less drifty!

If you were hoping for some major drops to come out of Embers Adrift in the next month or so, Stormhaven Studios is making sure to temper your expectations in its most recent patch notes: Expect things to be a bit slim for a little bit in that regard.

“November and December’s patches will continue to be light on content as most of our design time is spent on the upcoming zone Grizzled Peaks II,” the studio explains. “However, similar to last month we were able to sneak in a few fixes and design changes. We are also making headway on Steam integration and we hope to have the store page up relatively soon.”

In the meantime, the patch released this week does have a fairly sizable list of fixes and additions to it. Locked chests can no longer be opened with a key that’s in a missing bag, places where characters could be stuck across multiple zones have been fixed, level requirements for second and third trade professions have been reduced, and a few new UI options for hailing NPCs have been added. So while this patch may indeed be light on content, it does still have lots of additions of note.
