Tower of Fantasy is quickly getting into both the holiday spirit and the new update spirit, as its most recent patch is bringing another new character, a slew of December season kick-offs, and a bunch of events.
One major part of the update is the new character Gray Fox, a hacker who wields the staff weapon Witch’s Key to manipulate time and damage or debuff her foes. Also she can surf on the thing if the cinematic trailer for her reveal is anything to be believed.
In addition to the new simulacrum, the update heralds the beginning of new seasons for frontier clash, void abyss, and sequential phantasm, along with another floor for the boundless realm, a new high-level boss fight, a new limited-time raid instance, and a new activity available in the game’s overworld.
The month of December is looking flush with events as well: There’s a Witch Party event that grants goodies for taking part in three different event activities, a Raid of Fate co-op boss battle, a hide-and-seek Witch Hunt activity, and a Stellar Pact event, all of which run until December 24th.
The holiday season is also starting in the RPG’s event list as well, with six weeks of missions for cosmetics in the Holiday Bash until January 21st, two sets of login rewards ending December 4th and 24th respectively, and a Reindeer Express event that sees teams of players either delivering gifts or mowing down gift givers with a car (what?) between December 17th and 31st. There’s also some Black Friday discounts to take advantage of and a holiday-themed creator contest.
